How a cap badge attaches to the cap and how to swap it

Our caps have a badge mount that holds a badge without sewing or glue. You can swap the badge as often as you like. Here is how it works.

What a badge mount is

A badge mount is a small reinforced opening in a cap panel. The stud on the back of the badge goes through the opening and stays inside the cap. It holds the badge firmly until you take it off yourself.

Attaching a badge

  1. Hold the mount from inside the cap with a finger.
  2. Put the stud of the badge into the opening at an angle.
  3. Turn the badge into place.

Removing a badge

  1. Slide the badge to the edge of the opening.
  2. Lift it slightly.
  3. Push the stud out from the inside.

Swapping takes a few seconds and needs no tools.

How many mounts a cap has and where they are

A cap can have up to three mounts: on the left side, front centre and right side. You pick the positions in the designer, right on the picture of the cap. Two mounts are included in the price of the cap; the designer shows the price of a third.

Care

The badge is made of waterproof flexible plastic (TPU) and withstands rain, snow and cold. If a badge gets dirty, take it off the cap and rinse it under running water. Take the badges off before washing the cap.
